Motion Graphics - Kinetic Typography

For a motion design class, our final project was to create a kinetic typography video. I chose to do an animated lyric video for “Rescue Me (BUNT.Remix)” by OneRepublic. This was a fun exercise of everything we learned in class about After Effects, particularly about how to apply design principles and storytelling techniques in an organic way to support a song’s content.

Rickard Upper-Back Merch

I designed this logo for my dormitory’s hall merch for the 2023-2024 academic year, designing it first in .svg format using Inkscape.

“Squidapus”

This is a T-Shirt design I made for my a set of matching crewnecks. Each one had a different color scheme. Designed on Inkscape.

“GET SMART” Title Sequence

This was for another assignment in my motion design class. I tried to make an animated title sequence for the 1965 “Get Smart” TV show based on the original live action title sequence. I used Adobe After Effects.

Music Channel Logo

I made different variations of this logo idea I had for a YouTube channel I started awhile back, where I hope to post original music such as compositions and arrangements. I made this version using Inkscape.

Drumline Logo

This was the logo I made for my high school drumline during my senior year of high school. We had these printed on light gray hoodies, and a blue/white version printed on orange t-shirts.
